VISITING THE VAULT
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are located inside building 3, next to Canteen. Ask a venue manager for way-finding to exterior access to bathrooms after hours. Toilets includes accessible toilet, and baby change facilities.

Refunds and ticketing: Each event has its own ticket provider, you will need to reach out to the event organiser for specific information regarding events and ticketing.
Parking: There is plenty of on-site parking surrounding The Vault.
Smoking: There is a designated outdoor smoking area available. No smoking outside of the designated area or within The Vault.
Accessibility: The Vault has wheelchair access via a roller door. Should you have unique access requirements, please contact The Vault venue manager in advance of your visit with Rose, rose@dionysus.place. More accessibility information coming soon.
Heating:
The Vault has a variety of heating appliances to make sure you are warm and cosy.
Security: High density events will have security to manage crowds.
HIRING THE VAULT
How much is the Vault to hire?
Shelf price is between $2000 and $4400 for the whole venue for 20 hours - early morning to late night - depending on the date, inclusions, and the length of hire. If we’re hands-off and your use is very simple, it’s cheaper. We have many in-house resources to support quality events, so this price is a just a starting guide. As soon as you present your ideas and requirements, we’ll narrow down a figure.
What’s included in venue hire?
The Vault is run by experienced event managers dedicated to your program running seamlessly. This means you have access to our wider networks, including these regular offerings:
Cleaning: a standard surface clean is part of every hire, and during event cleaning is available at a small additional charge. Unannounced and significant cleans will be on-charged and you probably won’t like the after-hours rates, so it’s best to be proactive by booking during-event cleaners for large events. Late cleaning requirements will incur a small additional charge if you finish very late and there is a booking the following day.
Heating is included.
Bins are provided.
~120 amps of power are included, talk to us if more is needed.
Discounted package deals on furniture, sound, lighting, and projection can be discussed.
A good number of nice bathrooms, including an accessible toilet and baby change, are available in the neighbouring building. About 30 meters of the walk is not covered from weather.
Rigging from the overhead beams is welcome.
Event management is available with good notice.
Are private events acceptable?
The Vault aims for a balanced mix of leading cultural programs and private hires. It’s an amazing space for audio and screen usage, private parties and even weddings.
Is there outside space?
There is a beautiful garden about 15m from the entry to The Vault, and a large carpark nearby, however civil works will often be happening around the space so please don’t assume these are always available. It’s all about dates, so talk to us if you want a mix of indoor and out.
Is there a bar?
Yes, we have our own purpose-built, 9 metre long bar, with capacity for wines, beers and cocktails, and our bar manager and staff.
Will The Vault promote an event?
Yes, we have various tentacles into local scenes, however we won’t take on events that solely rely on our communications.
One date wonder?
If you need a very specific date, talk to us ASAP. Otherwise, we will assess all options until the beginning of February and curate a program that works for everyone, as best as possible.

We are getting a lot of interest and need to have a basic idea of what you’re thinking in hiring The Vault, before organising a tour. Someone from our team can be there to show you the space upon request.
What’s the capacity?
The space is 780 sqm, so the answer depends on how much stuff you’re bringing in. Can the space handle a 700-person dance floor? Probably. Can it be filled-out with nice exhibitions for a 50-person experience? Probably, so long as you have lots of stuff.
Do hirers need public liability insurance?
Yes, and we will request your certificate of currency.
