Township Rebellion

“This will be our most danceable party ever” says Dave, who runs the Vault and Escape Ferocity.

That’s no small claim, having attracted dance connaisseurs from around Australia to see the likes of Max Cooper and Boris Brejcha. So why is this party, headlined by Township Rebellion, going to be the best for dancing?

Firstly, Township Rebellion are party techno royalty. Few producers make such rounded beats, warm uplifting melodies and romper-stomping basslines. They’re playing a 3-hour set designed to make people lose themselves on the dancefloor. Not too heavy, not cold, not fluffy and not too conceptual.

And then there’s the environment. After learning how the warehouse can work, The Vault team are pushing the limits of the space to make it comfortable as well as breathtaking. Max Cooper had 8 projectors and some cool tricks, but the Township Rebellion party will have a completely custom lighting and projection installation designed not to distract, but to amplify the dancing. “It’ll be techno-as-fuck”, we’re told.

Support artists and the revered lighting designer will be announced soon, but don’t sleep on this one: tickets are already flying.
